The 3 of us, mummy, hubby and me brought Jayden to Sengkang Polyclinic for his second dose of Hepatitis B jab. He was weighted as part of the process, and I'm quite surprise to know the kg he had really put on just after one month, he's now 4.755kg and he's 255g to a sack of 5kg rice :) Well done Jayden my big bb.

Watami Casual Restaurant @ Raffles City Shopping Centre

My hubby and me had a few hours 'off' from babysitting before my appointment at KKH. We decided to have our lunch at Raffles City, and came across this restaurant called 'Watami Casual Restaurant'. The prices seems reasonable and portions are quite good too. Each of us had a $10.80 set lunch which comes with drinks, salad & miso soup.

Goodbye To My Last Surviving Hamster

My last surviving hamster passed away on Christmas night. While feeding her, my hubby commented that the hamster was not in it's normal self. My hamster is already old and both her hind legs were paralyzed :( I think it is a good relieved for her, and especially on Christmas night she can be united with her rest of her family members in heaven.

Both me and hubby decided to have our baby's umbilical cord donated to the Singapore Cord Blood Bank (SCBB) a public cord blood bank. The organisation provide cord blood for the treatment of patients with various illness, such as leukaemia, bone marrow failure and certain rare inherited diseases.

I Lose Weight!

Went for my routine checkup at KKH and I was pretty surprised to find out that I actually lost almost 2kg of my weight. It must the change of diet, fewer calories intake plus exercise and most importantly on how my food is being prepared and cooked. Luckily our little one is putting weight and he's now 2.4kg!

Leg Cramps

I keep having leg cramps for the past few nights while sleeping. I read up from some article that it is due to the weight of my uterus which restrict blood flow and compress nerves in my legs. The pain may also signal a calcium deficiency. Can't tahan the pain at first but now use to it, so when it occur I know how to handle it, I will flex my feet (pull toes toward knee) to stretch the calf muscle. Massage the muscle with long, firm strokes toward feet. Thanks to 'mybaby' magazine for the great info :)

My Supervised Blood Sugar Profile Assessment

Since I was diagnosed with Gestational Diabetes I have to attend the glucose assessment as scheduled, together they are 4 other pregnant mummy attending. It started with a

Glucose reading @ 8:58am
Breakfast @ 9am (big bowl of 'mee ta mak' with minced meat carrot & vegetables plus a cup of milk)
Exercise (walk around the hospital, from Women's Tower to Children's Tower)
A dietitian to work out an individual diet plan for each and everyone of us
Glucose reading @ 11am
Snack time @ 11:10am (3 wholewheat crackers with a cup of milk)
Glucose reading @ 12:25pm
Lunch time @ 1pm
Exercise (walk again around the hospital, from Women's Tower to Children's Tower)
Watched video on how other pregnant mummy coped with diabetes.

We were released after our dinner and I have to continue with 2 more times on the glucose reading at home. I have been eating like a 'pig' and walk like mad today. The doctor came over to see if I needed insulin injection due to 2 high readings for my glucose and I complained that the food the hospital gave was too big portion plus the time interval between each meal was too closed, no time for digestion. Because of this I have to go through the whole cycle again tomorrow; 3 meals, 3 snacks at scheduled time & 7 glucose blood test. How? I have already used up 7 of my fingers can I use my feet instead? heehee...

My new toy (Glucometer).

The green & pink device (lancet) is used to obtain a small pin of blood from the side of a finger by pricking it. Deposit my blood onto the test strip (blue packaging) and insert onto the bottom of the glucometer and wait for the result of the blood glucose level.

Diabetes Go Away

The routine check today was a bit disappointing as I was diagnosed with mild diabetes. Why!!?? I have only 2 more months to go till delivery and I always thought that this pregnancy will be smooth. The reading should not exceed 7mmoI/L and mine is 8.6mmoI/L. Anyway, I will take one step at a time for now, next tuesday I will be at the hospital for my glucose assessment. I will be there the whole day and my blood sugar level will be checked before and after each meal.

Our Little One At 30 Weeks

Today, I was at KKH for my baby growth scanned and routine checkup. This is a scan image of our little one at 30 weeks. Our little one is bigger, as compare to other babies at this time; according to our gynae, he also had more fats at his tummy area and weight about 1.98kg. Doesn't matter if he's big as long as he's healthy :). From the image he seems to have sausage lips and me & hubby are praying hard that he doesn't have one.

Weekend is here again, I love weekend because my hubby will be able to spend more time with me. It is also our wedding anniversary today. We have our lunch at Pasta Mania @ Downtown East as I'm craving for pasta and baked rice :) ,we had' sambal carne' & 'shrimp pasta', 'dory baked rice' and 'calamari', the lunch was good and the portion was just nice for the 2 of us.

We have our tea break at McCafe before heading back home. Is nice to be able to spend time together before our little one arrive.

I think our little one is a 'Gongfu master' because he has been doing a lot of kicking in my tummy recently. My hubby always encourage him by saying ' kick kick mummy...'. Tonight experience was an unforgettable one as he gave me a continuous 4 strong kicks. Well done bb...aiyo!!!

My Oral Glucose Tolerance Test

I had my oral glucose tolerance test today at KKH. The test is a laboratory method to check how the body breaks down (metabolizes) sugar. I cannot eat or drink anything after midnight before this test. For the test, I was asked to drink a very sweet liquid containing a certain amount of glucose. My blood was taken before this, and again 2 hours after drinking the solution. The test took 3 hours to complete. If my body is able to produce enough insulin to cope with the surge of sugar then I will be fine. My gynae told me that if there's a problem, the hospital will contact me and it has been already a day after the test hopefully I'm ok.

My primary school friend, Hui Cheng called me today and guess what? She is also pregnant. So happy for her. We got the same name where every time the teacher called, both of us would surely answer together. And coincidentally now we are both pregnant, both are boy, we even go to the same hospital and consult the same gynae; and our EDD is just 4 days apart :)

My second last 2 hamster passed away this morning due to old age(almost 80 years old by human age) and sickness. She's also one of the cutest & smartest hamster I've had because everytime when I called her name she will responded :)

Sad that she's gone but at least she's not in pain anymore. RIP and you will be joining your parents and siblings. You will be missed.

I had an appointment with my gyne at KKH today. During the scan, she asked me whether I wanted to know the sex of the baby? "Wow.. so fast I can get to know on the gender?" I thought. I'm supposed to do a detail scan next month, on the eve of National day to find out on the gender actually. But eventually we knew, and we (me & hubby) decided to keep it a secret first :) Both my grandma & daddy said it should be a boy. Happy waiting :) the secret will soon be revealed!

My First Trimester Screening

Today is my first trimester screening at KKH which is for down syndrome detection. Blood test was done last week and today we got the result. Me & my hubby are relieve that everything is okay. Now our little one is 6.49cm measured in length, I am so amazed and excited to see our little one moving around in my womb. Jia you! Little one :)

Vomiting is a SOP (Standard Operation Procedure) for me ever since i am pregnant. Especially 2 torturous moment is after bathing and brushing my teeth, the next moment is the plastic container at my face vomiting. But today, I receive a shocking piece of news, suddenly I became super energetic. There's this special strength in me that makes me feels fine after bathing tooth brushing, no vomit at all! And I finished all the meals prepared by my mummy too, I am a good girl today. Yeah NO VOMITING!!! Must be the angry piece of news and that actually transform into positive energy to me :)

Admitted to Hospital

I was feeling unwell especially for the passed couple of days. Vomited like 'Merlion' for at least 6 times since Sunday night (24 April), the little plastic container now became my best friend. My hubby and my mummy decided to accompany me to the 24hr clinic at KK Hospital. And I was admitted due to vomiting and thus dehydrating from my pregnant.

The doctor at the hospital did a scan to check on my pregnancy, I cried when I no longer see a empty sac but with a fetus in it. I think both the doctor and nurses must be finding me weird.

I was put on drip and given anti vomiting drugs at the hospital for the whole day and night. The next day, the doctor came by and I persuaded him to let me be discharge. And here I am @ home now, on 16 days hospitalization leave.

Stop over at NTUC during lunch hour to get some fruits. Came by this interesting fruit called 'Kiwi Berry', being the adventures type I decided to buy it. I did a search from Wikipedia and here's a definition for it. The fruit are referred to as Hardy kiwifruit, kiwi berry, arctic kiwi, baby kiwi, dessert kiwi or cocktail kiwi and are edible, berry or grape-sized fruit similar to kiwifruit in taste and appearance, but are green or purple with smooth skin. Often sweeter than the kiwifruit, hardy kiwifruit can be eaten whole and need not be peeled. Thin-walled, its exterior is smooth and leathery. I will try it today with my mum & hubby :)

This afternoon, both hubby & me decided to explode Haji Lane. A narrow strip of outdated shophouses turned into small boutiques. My hubby bought me a ring from a shop called 'theblogshop'. This consignment shop rents space to fashion designers to showcase their most dazzling creations. You get lots of surprises in this shop. Not all shops are open during that time, so I think we need to go back again :)

We have had our teabreak at The Coffee Bean in Iluma. A nice view at the second level, good place to meet up with friends. I did enjoyed myself today, 'park toring' (going dating) with my hubby is nice as it bring back good memories.

Before our shoes hunting we had dim sum at Mouth Restaurant at Chinatown Point. The dim sum were great and we enjoyed all the dishes. Even though is just a simple meal, I think is important to create family bonding and to spend more time with my parents which I treasure most right now.

Sentosa Flowers 2011

Me & my hubby are on leave for two days, and today is the first day of our leave. My hubby had booked a health screening package for both of us that we went in the morning; after that we decided to head down to Sentosa. We took the cable car as my hubby has never in his entire life try it before.
There is an yearly flowers exhibit event held in Sentosa, it was very crowded even though is a weekday when we reach there. I don't really enjoyed this trip maybe because of the intense heat, makes me tired after walking for a while, and furthermore, nothing much to see. I might have to consider again on whether to visit if there's another of this event the next time.

Chinese New Year Celebration At Grandma House

First day of Chinese New Year is always spent at Grandma place. I will get to see all my uncles, aunties, cousins & their children. This year my godmum prepared something special for our regular 'luo hei', yes, a bunny shape 'luo hei'. She's always full of ideas and she wants to make the kids happy, I think even the adults like it too.

Goodbye Fat Ham

I was about to feed my hamster and discovered that my favourite hamster, 'Fat Ham' passed away. Amongst my hamsters, he's the fattest & cuttest of all. He loved to be massage, he would stopped whatever he's doing and let me sayang him.
Few months ago he started to have a growth from his right ear and it got bigger everyday. Sad to see him suffered and I can't do anything to help him. At least now he's free from pain & suffering.

I received a smsed from Pets Lover on their latest exotic animal called 'Skinny Pig', I was curious and search the web on this particular animal and this is what I found.

A bizarre breed of guinea pig that was created for laboratory testing more than 30 years ago has become the latest designer pet. The skinny-pig has no hair on its body except for tufts on its face and feet - so needs strong sun cream in the summer and a jumper in winter.
They eat three times the amount of a normal hairy pig and their dry skin requires moisturizing. But animal lovers are willing to pay up to £150 for one.
Skinny Pigs were created using mutated genes during the Seventies and their bare skin was used for dermatological experiments. Research labs eventually handed the creatures over to breeders who have mated them with traditional guinea pigs to strengthen their immune system.
They are now becoming a surprise hit, particularly with allergy sufferers.

I was in JB for a printing press check this afternoon. My colleague and I stopped over at one of the shopping mall while waiting for the printer to get ready for the machine for press check. I entered to this Lavender cake shop and this particular black thing captured my eyes. It was a black colour bread made out of bamboo charcoal. Pregnant No More

I called early yesterday morning for an appointment to see Dr. Lim. And went down to his clinic with my mum. The name of the clinic is Tow Yung Clinic located at Tanglin Shopping Center, according to my church sister, Qingli, the clinic is popular among the rich Indonesian Tai Tais. I got my weight and urine test done, and we waited for our turn.

At 12:10pm my name was called, we waited more than 1hr30mins for my turn. Dr. Lim is a 60's something old uncle and he look very fatherly. Feels very comfortable talking to him. He did a scan and told me that my pregnancy is not normal and in medical term is called 'Blighted Ovum' (An empty sac on the scan is a sign of a blighted ovum, where conception occurred and the fertilised egg implanted in your womb but the baby did not develop) Haiz... is confirmed after the second opinion, no choice but to accept it. I have a D&C done, the whole process took about 1 hour. Can't believed that I have had two D&C done within 4 months.

I feel sad and disappointed but at least I am ever being pregnant, and I experience what is called morning sickness and I was being treated like a empress in the house :)

A Second Opinion

A church sister, Qingli called around 9pm asking about me as I haven't been going to Sunday service for more than a month now. I told her that I'm expecting, she too was shocked. I told her my worries and thinking of having a second opinion because my baby had no heartbeat yet. She recommended and encouraged me to visit her ex-gynae Dr. Lim, a very experience old male gynae. She said in order not to have any regrets in my life, should go and try whatever we can. So i went.

I'm 8 Weeks Pregnant

Dropping by to Dr. Ang's clinic for another scan today, I'm feeling better this morning. I was hoping for a miracle today, and I wanted to see the baby heartbeat but the result is the same. No heartbeat... Dr. Ang suggested for a second opinion, to get another scan done at the another clinic. What other options does we have? Okay, let's schedule another scan next Tuesday at Thomson Medical then.

I'm looking very pale now, no appetite and I ate very little. When I eat, is just for my baby.

Yesterday was Mama hamster and today was hamster girl girl. Hamster girl girl had lots of growth around her mouth and ear area.

Goodbye Mama Hamster

Mama hamster(aka Minnie) passed away this morning. Sad that she left but at least she's not in pain & suffering anymore. She was there lying motionless for the lasted 2 days ago, not consuming any food (including her favorite meal worms) & drink.

We were still able to see her heart pumping around 12 in the midnight, and this morning her body stiffen, she passed away peacefully. My hubby wrapped her up and put her inside the tiny red box that i have prepared for her after seeing her draining away bit by bit, day by day.

Thanks mama hamster for bringing me joy & happiness. You will be missed.

24hrs Emergency

As the spotting didn't stop, we decided to see Dr. Ang at the 24hrs emergency. Another scanned was done, the sac is still there but empty, why??? Dr. Ang wants me to see him the following week but I decided to push for another week waiting for a miracle to happen.

I did alot of thinking, especially when I'm bedridden. I told god that if you ready want to give me this baby, please give the baby heartbeat, if not I can accept it. I pray to god everyday, I want a miracle for my baby. I cried alot during this few weeks and I'm getting very emotional.

I started to get spotting this afternoon, it started around 2:20pm this afternoon. Being a first time mother-to-be, I'm scared, I'm alone, I don't know what to do. I quickly called my hubby, he rushed back home and he called Dr Ang immediately. He checked with Dr. Ang, "Is normal to get spotting during the first trimester?" Doc replied it's normal as my body is adjusting to the hormone.

What can I do now? Basically nothing! Just got to take plenty of rest, rest & more rest.

Seeing The Gynae

Ah Fang recommended to me a gynae from Thomson Medical Center, got an appointment fixed today at 8:45am. My hubby and me reached the clinic before 8:30am but we are not the first one to reach. I think he must be very good as lots of mum-to-be sees him.

As it was my first time seeing Dr Ang, he asked, "Is this is your 4th or 5th pregnancy?", do I really looked like someone who is so fertile? He was quite surprised when I told him that this is my first pregnancy. I had 2 scans and turn out the sac is empty. Dr Ang explained that there is only 2 possibilities; one is early pregnancy that still cannot be detected, and the other possibility is an unhealthy pregnancy. Of course, to be optimistic I accepted the first reason.

It is our 10 years wedding anniversary today but there is no celebration because I couldn't walk much without feeling tired easily.

My Morning Sickness

I vomited first time due to my pregnancy, vomited so hard that I can't even controlled my urine. Pregnant women can experience morning sickness anytime of the day. I'm becoming more sensitive to smell, I don't like the smell of garlic, air freshener, shampoo, shower gel... I no longer likes those things that I used to. And dislike food which is white in color, I used to like eating rice & beancurd and now I don't. I eat very little and I am beginning to lose appetite upon seeing food. My favorite drink now is ribena, I don't like plain water anymore.

It Breaks My Heart Seeing This

Minnie (aka mama hammie) is seriously sick, she had a large tumor nearly the same size as her growing on her right side. Her ability to maneuver is restricted by her growth, she had to drag herself around. Seeing it makes my heart heavy and how i wish i could do something to ease her pain. The tumor is pretty scary, it seems to be draining/feeding her as she seems to be shrinking day by day. Even though she looks weary..she still enjoys every meal time, and whenever i feed her favourite meal worms, she eat it as normal; and seeing it, i cry.

Yes, I'm really really pregnant after married for 10years. My hubby accompanied me to the gynae today, I had my first baby scan, I was so nervous and excited. I did lots of scans all this while due to my fibroids but today's scan is different, I'm so amazed to know that there's a mini me inside me :) My EDD is 28 May 2011, so near to my birthday, it will be good if is on the same day. As I was only 5 weeks pregnant, consider it as a early pregnancy the fetus could not be seen except for the sac. Well, just have to wait, will be seeing the gynae in 2 weeks times.

Ooh no... my well plan trip to Shanghai with Faith aka Little sister had to be canceled. My gynae advised me not to travel for the next 2 months. Haiz...

My menses was late, my 6th sense tell me that I could be pregnant. Bought a pregnancy test kit from parmancy today. True enough I was pregnant, I was shocked!!! I told my hubby and his replied was you sure or not?Did you used a marker to add in the lines is it? I called my mum and she was in doubt too. Why??? No one seems to believe in me.

Nearly Fainted

I had a bad tummy cramp since yesterday, it seems to be a pulling effect. My back was aching too and I'm also running a fever. I went to see the doctor this morning, which the clinic is located within walking distance from my house. I was diagnosed for stomach flu and was given a day medical leave (MC).

Afterwhich I made my way down to the Econ minimart to get a sack of 2.5kg rice plus my favourite drink Ribena Spakling with lemon. As I was leaving the minimart, I had this blackout feeling and I can't hear anything from the surrounding. Oh no... I told myself, don't faint you must quickly make your way up to the clinic again. I struggle my way back to the clinic at the second floor and told the nurse at the counter that I felt giddy. She informed the doctor and told me that the doc will come out and examine me after seeing his patients. I breath very very hard, both my hands and lips are numb, hands cramped till I can't even move at all. I was so scared; 'I don't want to get stroke at this young age'.

After about half an hour the numbness & cramped slowly went off and the nurse made me a cup of milo. I was called into the room to see the doctor, he took my blood pressure again and said that is normal. He asked if I had my breakfast? No! I replied. He said that could me the reason as there's a drop in sugar level, another reason could also be the virus in my body. Wah! The virus in my body are damn strong lor! I rather believe that it was the drop of sugar level.

I met this kind lady called Fatimah (she looked like a chinese) at the clinic who had offer to send me home, she was there to see the doctor too. She waited for me to finish seeing the doctor and got my prescription. We took a cab back, a short distance ride from the clinic. Fatimah wanted to pay for the cab but I insisted to return her the money. There are still kind people around us when you are in need.

What a dramatic & exciting day! Thank god that I didn't faint on the road while crossing and also lucky to have met a kind soul like Fatimah.

Molly's 35th Birthday

25th August is a very special day to be remember, it was my sister Molly's birthday. Me and my mum visited her at The Garden of Remembrance this morning with a miniature cake & a nice bouquet of flowers. She would be 35 years old today if she was still around.

Happy Birthday and we will forever miss you Ah Li! You must be enjoying yourself in heaven right now.

My Poor Fatham

My Fat Ham was bitten by his brother this morning. When I was bathing I heard him making alot of noises, he used to do that everyday but today sounds quite different this time. I checked on them after coming out from the bathroom and everything looks normal. As I was about to step out of the house, he made the sound again, and i saw his brother bitting him, I was so angry that i scolded his brother and pulled him away. The next thing I saw was blood on my poor Fat Ham. I quickly cleaned him up with tissue paper, that's the least I can do to make him feel better. And then I seperated them, I put his brother into a smaller cage now. I can sense that Fat Ham is in real pain as he keep touching his wound. I left for work and weep on the train, silently.
Before heading home, I bought medication for Fat Ham. Once I reached home, seeing Fat Ham still moving around in his blue box, I was relieved that he is still alive and enjoying his sunflower seeds.

Our Day Out

Both me & hubby is on leave today. We made plans to explore the Helix Bridge and Marina Sands Bay. But before that, we had our lunch at Thai Express to fill up our empty stomache, yummy.

And here we are, first stop to Esplanade, next the Youth Olympic Park, following the Helix Bridge, to the Marina Bays Sand and our final destinantion Orchard.
What a tiring day, my legs feel so tired after a half day of walking.

Watched 'Inception' with my hubby this morning. In the movie Dom Cobbs (Leonardo DiCaprio), has a special skill; he can extract secrets from deep within the human subconscious while a person is in the dream state. Wish I can have that special skill so that I can create & see things which I have been longing for. Is quite confusing in the beginning, middle till end..which I think I need to catch it the second time when the DVD is out, to understand the entire picture.
After the movie, we had lunch at Fish & Co, hmm... love the hot fudge chocolate cake, my happy food :)

Visitors At The Garden of Remembrance

Our dear Yee Hwee & Auntie Jean visited Molly today with red roses and

a beautiful card made by Yee Hwee. I'm sure Molly will love this card, as she kept and treasured all the handicrafts and art pieces done by Yee Hwee.

I haven't been visiting Molly for almost a month. I still miss her and think about her everyday. I will miss her even more when I'm feeling down. When she was around, I shared with her everything and she always give good advised and also some stupid ideas which will cheer me up. I'm sure I will get over the down period soon, I need a break and a good one.

For now, I will leave everything to god. 加油! 明天會更好!

I was on leave today, catch Despicable Me with Faith aka Little sister @ GV Vivo City. Like all the little minions and the little girl Agnes.

We have our afternoon tea at Fruit Paradise & Cafe. I don't feel sinful to finish the piece of tart, maybe because of the light Japanese cream and the tart base taste good :)

My First Attempt In Baking

I had finally baked a cake! Molly used to encourage me to try, she would said "Jie, I believe you can, just do it". I will always put those words in my heart whenever I lack confidence, it becomes a push factor for me. This time round is buttercake, next time i will try something more challenging.

I was back at the office today after resting for 10 days. Guess what? I had another birthday gift from my VM colleagues. They bought me a Longchamp bag and I can now add on to my collection.

Waited for hours for my surgery yesterday. I arrived in the morning at KK hospital around 9am, but did not proceed straight to the day surgery department until 920am. I waited till 10plus and the nurse brought me into the day surgery room, got changed and given a bed and wait, again. They were at least 10 over patients in 2 of the rooms. Temperature, height & weight were taken as a standard procedure. An old nurse then came and inserted a Cervagem 3 hours prior my surgery. What is Cervagem? It is a pessaries yellowish-white spindle-shaped vaginal pessaries each containing 1.0 mg gemeprost. The length of the pessary is approximately 26 mm, the diameter at the base is approximately 5 mm and the diameter at the maximum cross-section is approximately 7.5 mm. Cervagem is used for the dilation and softening of the cervix prior to surgical procedures during pregnancy or for the induction of miscarriage.There are side effects from using Cervagem and the more common ones are:
*vaginal bleeding or uterine pain
* nausea, vomiting
* lower abdominal pain, backache
* headache, slight fever, flushing, chills
* dizziness
* irregular heart beats
* muscle weakness
* shortness of breath.Did I get all the above symptoms? I have had some of it, vomited a few times for a start.
It was already 3pm and everyone in the rooms already left for surgery. Cannot tahan liao, I complained to the nurse for letting me wait for such a long time, you see, after the complained, the nurse said that she's ready to push me into the operation theatre. Now I understand why Singaporean likes to complain because things gets moving by doing so :)
The operating theatre was cold, the male anaesthetist gave me anaesthesia before the operation. The anaesthetist did also mention that he will insert the painkiller medicine through my anus, haiz... once you are on the operation theatre you are helpless, and just let them see everythings & do anything to you. The nurse had the oxygen mask on me and after that, whatever happened next I have not clue. When I was awake it was around 4pm. The operation lasted about 10minutes after checking with the nurse. They put me under observation for few hours before letting me home. My hubby, my mum & godmum were there, felt good to see them. Thank GOD for making the surgery a smooth one. I will be on 10 days hospitalization leave and got to refrain from carrying heavy stuff. Will be seeing the doctor in 2 weeks time for review.
And also not forgetting my loved ones for making you worried, my friends & colleagues for your well wishes.

My Day Surgery

I will be scheduled at KK hospital for my day surgery tomorrow. It is a small surgery which involves in removing the Endometrial Polyp and the Endometrium of 19mm that was scanned this earlier April. Endometrial Polyps are usually benign although some may be precancerous or cancerous, which I do not want to take the risk and thus decided to have it remove.
Tomorrow operation will be a dilatation & curettage & hysteroscopy polypectomy. Dilatation & curettage is to remove part of the lining of the uterus by scooping. It is a therapeutic gynecological procedure as well as a rarely used method of first trimester abortion. Yes, abortion! I haven't even give birth have to go through this :( haiz...
As for Hysteroscopy, an instrument will be used to remove the Polyp.
From now till 12 midnight I will stuff myself with food as I can only consume after my surgery in the afternoon. Well for now I will just leave everything in the hands of GOD.

Our Genting Trip 28 - 30 May 2010

On the 28th May morning at Tanjong Pagar train station, 14 of us took the 7:45am train to Kuala Lumpur. After a long journey, we reached KL station at 4pm and after which we took a cab to Genting, took around an hour that cost about RM80.

The weather this time round is not as cold as before, but it did rain on the second night. As it was a long weekend, all 6300 hotel rooms at Genting were fully booked according to the cabby. I met my sister's friend, Zhangfang there and she was with her family. And also met my colleague Fiona for her concert. What a small world.
This is the most tiring trip I have had so far, will definitely take a coach next time.
